Milica Malinovic, Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying)
Welcome, I’m Milica Malinovic, a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
I hold an Honours Bachelor of Science in Health Sciences from Wilfrid Laurier University and a Master of Arts in Counselling Psychology from Yorkville University. With a passion for supporting individuals and families, I draw from a variety of therapeutic approaches, including Humanistic and person-centred, as well as interventions from CBT, DBT, SFT, Narrative Therapy, Gestalt, somatic practices, mindfulness, and play therapy. My approach is flexible, and I tailor interventions to meet the unique needs of each client.
I work with individuals, couples, and families, with a particular interest in family dynamics and childhood trauma. I’ve had the privilege of working with children at The Children’s Foundation and adults at Hope House in Guelph, where I’ve supported clients through a range of challenges, including anger, anxiety, depression, PTSD,
relationship difficulties, and life transitions.
I believe in creating a safe, respectful, and non-judgmental space for exploration and healing. Your emotional and physical safety is my priority, and I strive to meet you where you're at, allowing you to have autonomy in your journey. Pacing and progress are always discussed openly, and I value bringing a sense of humor into sessions, where
appropriate.
In my personal life, I enjoy long walks, exploring, travelling, spending time with my loved ones and my dog, and baking. I look forward to supporting you as you work towards greater well-being and balance.
